Everyone around you seems to have it figured out. The career, the relationship, the clear direction. And you are here, in what feels like the waiting room of your own life, wondering when it is your turn.
Can I say something? The waiting room is not wasted time. I know it feels like it is. But it is not.
We treat waiting like something to endure until the real life starts. But what if the season you are in right now is the real life? What if God is doing something in the quiet that He could not do in the noise of what you are asking for?
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."Jeremiah 29:11
He is not withholding from you. He is preparing you. And sometimes the preparation takes longer than we want because what He is building in us is worth taking time over.
Stay faithful in the small things. Show up for the life you have, not the one you are waiting for. The girl who is faithful in the season of little is the girl who is ready for the season of much.
Stop watching everyone else's timeline. Their path is not your path. God did not give you their story because you are not them. He gave you yours, which means it fits you in a way no one else's could.
"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength."Isaiah 40:31
The waiting is not a pause on your life. It is part of it. Lean into it. Pray through it. And trust the One who holds every timeline, including yours.
